all make the level sensor "unlevel"(if there is such a word). Its very hard to detect while driving, because you are concentrating on driving(I hope!) and not the lights. Try coming to a stop at night VERY fast and you might see the lights reposition themselves.

Turns out the levelling sensor was cracked and wire , hit by stones when driving up a forest track. Do you get a beep and headlight warning light on dash as well? I believe the sensor is located on the drivers side front control arm near the brakes / hub but slightly behind . My b7 was the passenger side tho. They are cheap and easy to replace .
If the adaptive headlights fail to adjust at all, there is a possibility that the one of the wires going to the adaptive headlight motor could have been pinched or torn. The only way to know for sure is to open up the headlight and check. First you'll need to unscrew and remove the headlight from the car.

I found a new sensor on-line for around $130 & our local indie shop replaced the busted one when we were in for an oil change service (charged a half-hour labor or there abouts). The part number is shared by VW, I believe: 8K0-941-309-F. 2014 B8.5 A4Q P+ 2.0T 6MT Monsoon Grey.
Here is what the VAG-COM tool said: 2 Faults Found: 00774 - Level Control System Sensor: Left Rear (G76) 57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure. 01771 - Contol Module for Headlight Range (J431) 79-00 - Please Check Fault Code. I insepected the level control sensor on the left rear control arm.
It comes up fairly sporadic - my headlights and cornering lights seem to be working fine. After running VCDS scan the only fault codes that appear are as follows: Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels:. 8K0-907-063.clb. Part No SW: 8K0 907 063 DJ HW: 8K0 907 063 DJ. Component: BCM1 1.0 H16 0103.

See pics, get this from Honda dealer, no need to buy the whole sensor assembly. Hope this helps, cheers Ricky. Price £27.00 inc VAT. Sensor about £270.00.
