The same teams worked on both Crash 4 and the N. Sane Trilogy remasters, and the long-awaited sequel actually lives up to the hype. 6 No One Lives Under The Lighthouse
If you play without v-sync, then there is an unlimited potential for higher framerates to improve your experience way beyond your monitor's refresh rate. 300 fps would help even when your monitor can only refresh 60 times per second: The graphics card pushes 300 fps per second, so each of the 60 images your monitor displays is a very "fresh" one.
Perfect example: crash 2. It runs at 30 fps on ntsc and 25 fps on pal. Crash moves faster in the pal version (probably because they tied movement speed to framerate) so this version of the game would be the one to speedrun right? Well because the framerate is only 25, the game will sometimes drop inputs.

The N. Sane Trilogy (which is on PC btw) runs at 60 FPS, and it feels smooth and it’s super fun to play, which brings me to my next point 2. Crash is already on PC With the N. Sane trilogy already having a PC release, one that sold well since the platformer market on PC is not that large.
Sep 15, 2019. #1. Mod for Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy that increases framerate from 30 FPS to 60 FPS. It is hitting that target framerate most of the time in handheld mode when using the below overclock but in demanding stages it might need a higher OC. Only tested in handheld mode and probably will not run at 60 FPS in docked mode.
Nsane-ly low FPS - Crash trilogy won't switch GPU. So this seems like a fairly common problem where the Crash trilogy isn't running on my AMD GPU and keeps running on the Intel GPU and so is barely playable. I've seen solutions for outdated AMD software to fix this issue, but I've tried everything and it doesn't work.
Considering how catastrophic was the port of Arkham Knight and how they capped it on 30 FPS, it's a good reason to be worried about the PC port of this Crash Trilogy and their optimization, since it was confirmed that the same studio got this project on their dirty hands, unfortunately.
